Ramos is an author, speaker and digital marketing and public relations consultant who currently manages SEO and Adwords for Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. For Harvard and MIT, he uses over 330,000 keywords in 42 languages. Born in Colombia, Ramos speaks Spanish, German, and several other languages.
He consulted for more than 25 startups during the dotcom boom. He co-founded two digital agencies; one grew to 175 staff and was acquired in 2012. He was a director at Acxiom, where he led the digital agency and then the Manager of Global SEO at Cisco. A strong advocate for higher education, Ramos serves as an instructor in digital marketing at INSEEC San Francisco. He graduated in 1982 from the Universität Heidelberg, Germany.
